Supporter Club
Ambassadors & Supporters

The members list

Find a club's ambassadors and supporters, and read what each member's page tells you.

Every club has a list of its members: the ambassadors who fundraise for it and the supporters who have joined it. From the list you can open any member's page to see their details, goals, donation, terms and the people they referred.

Open a club's members

  1. Open the club.
  2. In the sidebar, select Members.

The list is sorted by last name, then first name. To sort by another column, select the First name, Last name, Status or Ends heading. The other columns can't be sorted.

Search and filter

  • Type in the Search name box to find members by first or last name.
  • Select Filters to open the Filter members panel and narrow the list by:
    • Type: Ambassador or Supporter
    • Ends: a From and To date for the end of the member's current donation period
    • Auto-renews: Any, Yes or No
    • Interval: Month or Year

Choose the columns

Open More to choose which columns the list shows. First name, Last name, Type, Status and Ends are shown by default. You can also add Email, Joined, Amount and Interval.

What the Status column shows

For an active or inactive ambassador, Status shows where their pages stand, with a coloured dot:

  • Published (green): their story and join pages are public, as long as the club is live.
  • Unpublished (amber): their pages are down, but they are still an active ambassador.
  • Inactive (grey): their pages are down and they are left out of emails sent to the club's active ambassadors and supporters. Emails sent to the ambassador who referred a supporter still reach them. See What an inactive ambassador means.

For a supporter, and for any other ambassador (for example, one whose membership has expired), Status shows their membership status, such as Pending (joined but not yet paid) or Active.

Active and Inactive tabs

Once the club has at least one inactive member, the list splits into Active and Inactive tabs, each with a count. Until then, every member is in one list. Your search, filters and sort carry over when you switch tabs.

Buttons on the list

  • Add ambassador adds a person from your organisation's Contacts screen to the club as an ambassador, whether or not they have given anything. See Adding and publishing an ambassador.
  • Send email to starts an email to the club's active ambassadors, or its active ambassadors and supporters. See Emails.

A member's page

Select a member's name to open their page. The heading shows their name, with Members above it to take you back to the list.

Heading buttons and alerts

For an ambassador, the buttons in the heading depend on their status:

StatusButtons
PublishedView page (only while the club is also live) and Unpublish
UnpublishedMake inactive and Publish profile
InactiveReactivate

An unpublished ambassador's page shows the alert "First name is unpublished." An inactive ambassador's page shows "First name is inactive and gets no club emails." Despite that wording, emails sent to the ambassador who referred a supporter still reach them. Each alert goes on to say where visitors to their pages are sent. If the club itself has an alert, such as the club not being live yet, the club's alert is shown instead.

Supporters have no heading buttons.

To publish, unpublish, make inactive or reactivate, see Adding and publishing an ambassador and Unpublishing, redirects and inactive ambassadors.

General

The General panel can't be edited. It shows:

  • Contact: the person's name, linking to their record.
  • Type: Ambassador or Supporter.
  • Status: for an active or inactive ambassador, Published, Unpublished or Inactive; for everyone else, their membership status.
  • Referrer: the ambassador who referred them, linking to that ambassador's page. Shown only when someone referred them.

When the membership is not active, the panel shows the warning "This membership is not active".

Goals

Ambassadors only. The Goals panel has two tabs, Amount Raised and Supporter Count. Each tab lists the ambassador's goals with their Title, Target and Date.

To add a goal:

  1. Select the tab for the kind of goal you want.
  2. Select Add goal.
  3. Enter the target. Title and the date after BY are optional.
  4. Select Add goal.

To change a goal, hover over it and select Edit. From there you can Save changes, or select Delete and then Delete goal to remove it. For goals across the whole club, see Goals and matched donations.

Subscription

The Subscription panel shows the member's recurring donation arrangement.

  • While it is active, the panel shows Status, ID, Amount, Interval, Starts, Ends and Auto-renew. If an earlier arrangement on this membership was cancelled and the member has since paid again, it also shows Cancels and Cancelled, with the dates from that earlier cancellation.
  • While the member hasn't paid yet, the panel shows an Access Link. Select Copy Link and send it to the person so they can complete payment and activate their membership.
  • Once the arrangement is cancelled or expired, the panel shows only its heading.

Profile, Redirect and Photos

Terms

The Terms panel shows Accepted. If the member accepted the terms and conditions when they joined, it also shows the Date, the IP address and the Device (the browser they used) recorded when they submitted the join form.

Referrals

The Referrals panel lists the people this member referred, five at a time, with First name, Last name, Status and Joined. Select a name to open that person's member page. To learn how people join through a referral, see Referrals and how supporters join.

Beta

This feature is in beta and may not be available for your account yet.

The Pages panel lists the page designs made for this ambassador alone, each with a Design button and, for a page that has its own web address, an Open button. If none have been made, it says "No membership pages were found." To make, edit or delete these pages, see Pages for a single ambassador.
